Bolie, I agree with the first and second prrpgaaah, but I’m curious what makes you think that your kids are most likely to grow up being very good at doing things with computers?My kids have been using computers since they were in pre-school. They have better typing skills than I did at their age, but at 15 and 12, they don’t seem pre-disposed towards careers with computers and I would have to say that for the amount of time they’ve spent using them, they don’t have a lot to put on a resume.Are you one of these hopeful parents? There are kids who develop really valuable computer skills (learning to program, build websites), but that’s not what most kids are doing online.Great software developers don’t just know how to use computers and write code. To be good at it, you need to have good interpersonal skills, good writing and communication skills, know how to read books, and learn to unplug and have fun with your team.In 10-15 years, technology might be significantly different enough to render much of what they’re learning as children obsolete. The harm and risks of using computers are overblown in the media, but then again, I believe that the benefits that computers might impart onto our kids are also significantly overblown.

Regarding how Saline Street got it’s name: I recall hrneiag many years ago that there was a large salt lick there for the farm animals. This sounds as plausible as any other suggestion. Now here’s a stumper: How did the street I grew up on, Flemington, get its name?

:I actually amlost took home a copy of Fun Home from BEA this year, but the book was so heavy, and I was trying to lighten up the box I shipped home, so it didn’t make the cut. Now I wish I had kept it!I too don’t usually read graphic novels, but one of the first I had ever read, and the best by far actually, one of the best books I have ever read, period was Maus by Art Spiegelman. It’s amazing how the artwork makes the holocaust both more palatable to the reader and more horrifying at the same time.

La noi liliacul e acum in floare iar bujorii incep si ei, timizi, sa-si arate culorile.
Desi suntem cu ceva timp in urma cu floricelele si multitudinea de boboci, parca mi se pare ca trece atat de razant aceasta primavara. Am asteptat-o atat de mult si… e aproape pe sfarsite
Nu vreau!!!
